Bansko is situated at the foot
of the beautiful Pirin Mountains. Formerly a traditional Bulgarain town
that has recently evolved into an excellent modern ski centre. The
resort has retained old world charm whilst offering fantastic modern
hotels and breathtaking views, making it an excellent choice for your
family ski holiday. Bansko is most suited to beginners and
intermediates but With 65 kilometres of marked pistes and some great
off-piste, all abilities of skiers are well catered for. There are
plenty of shops to explore as well as historic sights and monuments
such as the famous local church, St. Trinity. The resort has a long
season that usually runs from mid-December until mid-May.

find almost 100 restaurants or "Mehanas" serving local and
international cuisine, and all at great value for money prices! There's
also numerous bars playing a mixture of live and recorded music late

offers some great childcare facilities: There is a 'non-skiing
kindergarten', conveniently located near the bottom station of the
Gondola lift. For children 3-6 yrs. inc.(Sat-Fri.), where children are
supervised with activities, fun and games. For children 4-7 years,
there is a 'Junior Ski Club'. This package includes daily tuition (2
hours per day), skis, boots, lift pass (to the snow club only) and
